Order and Payment Questions and Answers

  • How can I order from iBOOD?

    You can order your iBOOD of the day through simply clicking on the "I'll take it!" button, which can be found on the homepage of the website.

    If you have previosly registered an account with iBOOD, then simply log in your details in the order screen. Don't have an account yet? That's no problem! Just submit a user name and choose a password whilst placing the order and your account will be created automatically.

    Then, after you've created an iBOOD account, all that we require from you is a delivery address and a secured payment method. Please consider your delivery address very carefully before submitting your details. You may prefer to post to an alternate address (work/relative), if you're unavailable for collection.

    After your customer details have been submitted, you will then be forwarded onto the payment method screen. You must not close this payment page after your details have been inputted, instead please follow the instructions on the webpage. If this process has been successful, you will receive an email of confirmation, stating your order details and delivery address.

    You can also monitor your order status at the "My iBOOD" section of the website. This will give you an estimate of when you can expect to receive your order. Usually your order will be delivered within 1 to 7 workdays after you've placed the order.

  • How many products can I order?

    You can place a maximum of 4 orders per product offer, with a maximum of 4 items per order (in other words, you can buy no more than 16 items). These limits were set up to prevent a small group of iBOOD'ians to purchase our entire stock; because when we're sold out, it really means we're sold out.

  • Can I choose any delivery address?

    You are very welcome to choose any address for delivery of your order. We must advise you to choose an appropriate address for available collection. In case you are not at home during the day, you may choose to deliver to a work/relatives address. For us to deliver to a work address, please state the name of the work company.

    To prevent delays in the delivery process, please check that you have correctly inputted your address details.

  • How much are the shipping costs?

    The shipping costs depend on the total weight of the product(s) you order. So for an order of two widescreen televisions the delivery costs will be higher than that of a USB memory stick.

    In the table below you can find the exact prices for the different weight categories.

    If you have placed several orders on one day or ordered different products within one week, we are unfortunately not able to combine these orders and ship them together. This is due to the different locations of our warehouses, and it is simply not possible to combine different orders.

  • What methods of payment are available?

    You can pay by creditcard; we accept Mastercard, Visa, and Maestro. You can be reassured to know that payment through means of credit card, is protected in a secure online environment. Simply choose your preferred credit card during the payment process, and input your card details. Your payment is then authorised online, so that you know instantly whether or not it has been approved.

    NB.: This website is the property of Silver Ocean BV, and therefore the name "Silver Ocean B.V" will appear on your statement.

    You can also by Wire Transfer (payment in advance). When using this method the total sum of your order must be transferred, stating your order number and surname. You can find the payment details in the order confirmation, which will be sent to you by email. In receipt of your payment, we shall dispatch your order to the stated delivery address. Therefore the quicker the payment, the quicker your order will be dispatched.

  • Is paying on iBOOD safe and secure?

    Ordering with iBOOD ensures quick, easy, and above all secure payment. As well as the opportunity to pay by transfer, iBOOD offers a variety of methods for electronic payment. For the credit card payments we use the Payment Service Provider Ogone and of course the entire payment process is governed within a secure "https" environment.

  • Do all the prices include VAT?

    Yes we like to keep in very simple. So all prices shown on the website include VAT.

  • What is the warning that appears when I enter the payment process?

    In some browsers this window can be a little intimidating. However all this means is that you are entering a secure site. This means that you personal and financial information is perfectly secured and can not be seen by anybody else.

    Click 'OK' to proceed.

  • Do I receive an order confirmation after I have submitted an order?

    Your email address is used for receiving the confirmation of your order, settling the guarantee and to keep you informed of the status of your orders. If you are having trouble finding your email confirmation, we recommend you check the settings of your email spam filter.

    You can also log into the "My iBOOD"section to find order details and status. If your order does not show at "My iBOOD" then please contact the customer service with the contact form.
