The NT-505-X is an industry-leading dual-mono preamplifier with versatile network playback capabilities. It integrates the latest network technologies and Teac's decades of audio design experience into one compact device. The dual-mono structure processes stereo signals with higher purity and the D/A converter section utilises an ES9038 Q2M (manufactured by ESS Technology) in both the left and right channels.

This model achieves a high signal-to-noise ratio by using each DAC in mono mode. In addition, its high specifications allow native playback of 22.5 MHz DSD and 768 kHz/32-bit PCM formats when used as a USB DAC. On the network audio side, the NT-505-X supports high-quality music subscription services, namely TIDAL, Qobuz and Roon Ready.
